Colorado Revised Statutes § 10-4-613 says an insurance company cannot require you to use a particular glass shop as a condition of paying your claim. It also bars them from pressuring you toward one. Many carriers route glass claims through a network run by Safelite. That is a suggestion. It is not an order, and you are allowed to say no.

- Distortion. You glance left and it looks like you are seeing through the bottom of a drinking glass. That is bad glass and it is a warranty claim.
